Sky Gazing Programme NEW

Bhavan's Jyotisha Bharati successfully organised Sky Gazing Programme at Bordi, Dist. (Palghar), Maharashtra, on 21-22 November, 2022.
Vice Principal Shri Sharad C. Joshi explained the importance of this education tour of Sky Gazing programme and also explained how the Astronomy and Astrology are related to each other.
Shri Chintan S. Joshi, Space Guide at Nehru Planetarium, explained how to explore the sky, the directions, satellites, meaning of A B C S in Astronomy and how to read Star Chart.
Shri Kunal Vora, faculty member, explained the importance of Sky observation. Shri Rajesh Kacha, faculty member, explained the tables of Rising, culminating and setting of the objects. The participants, during the whole night, observed the Planets, Nakshatras, Zodiac signs, Nebula, Galaxy, Binary stars through telescopes. The power-point slide-shows were presented by Shri Chintan Joshi and Shri Kunal Vora. This was followed by the question-answer session.
Overall 55 participants (teachers and students) attended this programme.
