JYOTISHA SAYANACHARYA

JYOTISHA SAYANACHARYA specialises in Sayana system.

Students who wish to go for deeper study of any one particular subject or facet of their own choice and specialise in that branch will have to register themselves as Research Students and have to work and study on the selected / approved project under instructions from an authorised Professor / Guide and by keeping in constant contact with him.

THESIS:

• Thesis must be accompanied by at least minimum of TWENTY example Charts, factually illustrated and results derived should be shown in tabular form, wherever possible.
• The final Thesis presented by students, shall be examined by a panel consisting of eminent persons in the chosen field.
• The Thesis must be satisfactorily completed and presented by the student within TWO years from the date of registration.

ELIGIBILITY:

Only those students who have passed the final Jyotirvisharada Examination of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai, by papers and have secured at least a Second Class and are desirous of conducting research on any related subject are eligible for the admission to this course.
Students are allowed to present their RESEARCH WORK in the language of their choice, PROVIDED special permission is sought and granted by the Principal in writing.

The course will be of TWO years' duration and total emphasis will be laid on practical application of fundamentals and rules of the relevant system.

The Synopsis for the Thesis is to be submitted in the required format set by the Institute, at the time of Admission. Kindly contact the Principal / Admission authority for the procedure.

Research Fees: Rs. 15,000/- + GST 18% [Rs. 2,700/-] = Total Rs. 17,700/- for two years.
If any additional time needs for research then Rs. 5,000/- + 18% GST applicable per year.
