MISSION & VISION

Bhavan's Jyotisha Bharati's mission is to spread the jyot of Astrology in all directions. We do not intend to be dogmatic. Insistence on any one branch of astrology is not our cup of tea. We feel that is not the right approach.

Hence our vision is that we teach both Niryana (Indian) as well as Sayana (Western) systems of astrology. We also teach Krishnamoorthy Paddhati (System) of astrology. We teach Vastu as well Feng Shui. Even Tajik Neelkanthi forms an integral part of our syllabus. Arabic Parts, which is nothing but our own Saham System of Tajik Acharyas, is taught by us. Recently we had also included Graphology and Dowsing & Tele -therapy but discontinued the same as there was not enough interest from students as well as due to lack of competent teachers. Avakhada Chakraa and Sarvattobhadra Chakra systems of astrology are part of our curriculum.

We encourage our students to be innovative and pursue new avenues of prediction. With the advent of Computerized charts and systems, we seek newer methods of classroom interaction of Power Pointy Presentations.

Our students have themselves come forward to give presentations as a tribute and offering to their teachers on Guru Poonnima day.

We feel that astronomy and astrology are two sides of the same coin. Hence we take our students out for sky gazing to instill in them the habit of looking at the sky and identify Stars and Planets and Nakshatras with the help of the naked eye as well as with the help of telescopes. We have hence, introduced Astronomy as one of the important subjects in out syllabus.

BUT LOT REMAINS TO BE DONE YET.

We intend to start a project of Kundali Ganit for the general public. We will offer to make Charts for the people at affordable prices. This idea was tossed by our Chairman, Dr. D. K. Daftary, who has a scientific mind both by training and knowledge.

We have plans to commence Correspondence Course as well as perhaps, Online Course mainly for the benefit of people outside of Mumbai, and throughout the four corners of India and indeed through the World.

We also realize that Kundali Ganit is a thorn amongst students and many fail on account of this subject. Facilities permitting, we intend to introduce this subject as a half year preparatory course for students as an entrance course, prior to First Year Jyotirvid Course.
We also intend to introduce daily Evening Classes for those aspiring students who find it rather difficult to spare full time on a Sunday.
Many students have been requesting us to start classes in Hindi and Marathi. It has its own difficulties, but we intend to overcome them gradually.
We have been advocating these intentions for the past five years, but there are crucial procedural and administrative reasons but God willing, we shall overcome them in the course of time.

We do not like to blow our own trumpet. There are many worthy FREE astrology classes throughout the length and breadth of Mumbai. But ask any one, Bhavan's JYOTISHA BHARATI leads them all in content and quality.
